Hola!  Should I write in Spanish as you are in Andalucia in Spain?  You have a wonderful site, and I can add some information about Tamus comunis - black Bryony.  In the Tarn (Midi-Pyrennee SW France) it  is known  in Occitan as "respuntsous"  or similar spelling.   The new shoots are collected in early spring - only the tender tips - boiled in a generous amount of water with added salt and lemon juice for about 20 mins, drained and dressed with olive oil and vinegar.   Sometimes chopped hard-boiled egg is added to the salad.  It can also be used to make an omelette.   It is fairly bitter (an acquired taste but worth acquiring) and should not be eaten in excessive quantities.

One knows Spring has really arrived when the first bowl of respountsous salad is on the table.

Collecting respountsous by the side of the road or at the edge of woods is a wonderful excuse to go for a walk of a cycle ride.

Answer: Thank you Susan for this recipe. I will try it as soon as I get the opportunity to collect some Tamus in early spring. But I've heard that it's poisonous, so your warning not to eat this plant in excessive quantities should be taken seriously.
All the best,
Ulf

Great website... I enjoyed all corners of it. You must love nature to take so wonderful pictures... Congratulations.
I live in Quebec and we went to Norway and Sweden last july but in the Northern part of both Scandinavian Countries to meet gardening friends. Lofoten and Abisko Parc will in our memories forever. A lovely trip indeed. This year, our friends, the Lindgren family from Rosvik/north Sweden will come for 3 weeks
Best regards Denyse
